The challenge was to break the boundaries of traditional production in Chile: moving Latin America's most important festival into an immersive virtual environment. We had to make the hosts "fly" and move through a dreamlike universe of sensations, integrating their live performances with high-complexity digital stages in real-time. The technical challenge required perfect synchronization between the camera, lighting, and 120 meters of LED screens to avoid any visual lag and achieve total immersion.
We conceived and produced this "Festival Metaverse" using Virtual Production technology in collaboration with Madis Films. We built a dynamic digital environment projected onto 120 meters of state-of-the-art LED screens, allowing for natural, realistic lighting and reflections on the hosts. This solution eliminated the need for traditional chroma key post-production, enabling directors to see the final result on-set and achieving impossible camera moves that brought the vision of a festival without physical boundaries to life.
The campaign became the first major Virtual Production piece created in the country, marking a turning point in local advertising. The result was a cinematic piece with global impact that announced not only the festival's return but also Pancho Saavedra's debut as the new host. We achieved an epic, futuristic aesthetic that elevated Viña 2024's brand perception, proving FEELS is a pioneer in the use of next-generation technologies.
