The challenge was, in traditional production terms, an impossible mission: building and filming an entire village of "animitas" within an extremely short timeframe. The logistical complexity, physical construction costs, and the urgency of the National Holidays campaign made a conventional shoot unfeasible. We had to create a high-impact cinematic piece with deep cultural respect, starting from scratch with the clock ticking against us.
To overcome physical and time constraints, we turned to a cutting-edge "hybrid solution." Instead of building sets, we used high-precision 3D scanning to digitize real-life altars and combined this data with generative AI through ASTRO Studio. This allowed us to iterate and build surreal environments at ultra-high speed, achieving an organic and detailed aesthetic that elevated BBDO's concept to a cinematic level in a fraction of the usual time.
We delivered an epic-scale campaign in record time, proving that technology is the best ally for creativity under pressure. The piece generated an immediate national impact, becoming the core of the road safety conversation. We achieved what seemed unattainable: a visually rich and emotionally raw production that wouldn't have been possible without our agile and technological approach.
